Curiosity
Children begin to ask questions as early as 2 years old. However, the developmental trajectory of asking questions is to be determined. Our goal is to evaluate what makes children of different age groups curious. Our secondary goal is to use this information to inform the development of teaching procedures for children with developmental delays, who may need individualized instruction to learn to ask questions.
Peer Review in Behavior Analysis
Drs. Cengher and Linda LeBlanc developed a survey to evaluate what variables Editors and Associate Editors in behavior analysis consider when conducting editorial work. They used the data obtained from this survey to develop guidelines for writing reviews for scientific journals for junior scholars. Further, Drs. Cengher and Tiffany Kodak developed a mentorship program for learning peer review work for The Analysis of Verbal Behavior. Stay tuned for more updates on this area of research and service work!
